FA charge Bardsley with violent conduct

The Football Association also announced today that Sunderland defender Phil Bardsley has been charged with violent conduct following an incident involving Chelsea's Juan Mata during their 2-1 home defeat on Saturday.

Bardsley appeared to stamp on Mata as the clock ran down at the Stadium of Light.
