Agbonlahor doubt for Villa

Aston Villa striker Gabriel Agbonlahor is a doubt for tomorrow night’s Carling Cup second round clash with League Two Hereford.

Agbonlahor opened the scoring in Saturday’s 3-1 Barclays Premier League victory over Blackburn, but failed to re-appear after the break because of a hamstring problem.

Emile Heskey (abductor muscle) and Luke Young (knee) were also replaced during the second half, while keeper Shay Given was hampered by a groin injury which had threatened his participation at the weekend.
