Tottenham midfielder Steven Pienaar was today ruled out for up to six weeks after undergoing groin surgery.

South Africa captain Pienaar was forced to go under the knife after injuring himself in Spurs’ final pre-season friendly against Athletic Bilbao on Saturday.
