FAI summons Rovers and Pat's to racism hearings

The Disciplinary Control Unit of the FAI have summoned Shamrock Rovers and St Patrick's Athletic to a hearing over alleged racist abuse of Derry City striker Eamon Zayed.

Derry City has also been invited to attend.

Both Dublin clubs have been requested to attend the hearing regarding spectator conduct and alleged racist comments.

One of Rovers' players faces an accusation of racist or offensive comments.

An independent committee will now be nominated to hear the matters at a date to be confirmed.
