Karim Benzema has been included in Real Madrid’s 21-man squad for tomorrow’s Champions League quarter-final second leg at Tottenham.

The in-form France striker is back in contention after missing last Tuesday’s 4-0 first-leg win with a hamstring injury, while Sami Khedira is also available after sitting out Saturday’s 3-0 Primera Division win at Athletic Bilbao due to flu.

Twenty-one-year-old centre-back Nacho Fernandez has been named in Jose Mourinho’s squad, with Portugal defender Pepe suspended.

Lassana Diarra will play no part because of a hip problem and has stayed in Madrid along with fellow absentees Pedro Leon (knee) and Fernando Gago (groin).

Provisional squad: Casillas, Adan, Dudek, Carvalho, Ramos, Marcelo, Albiol, Arbeloa, Garay, Nacho Fernandez, Kaka, Granero, Alonso, Canales, Di Maria, Ozil, Khedira, Adebayor, Ronaldo, Higuain, Benzema.
