Burnley manager Eddie Howe hopes to keep Everton loanee Shane Duffy at Turf Moor next season.

Burnley manager Eddie Howe hopes to keep Everton loanee Shane Duffy at Turf Moor next season.

Duffy, 19, has joined the Clarets on an initial 28-day loan to boost their npower Championship play-off bid, but Howe also has a longer-term plan for the Republic of Ireland under-21 defender.
