āThis is an exciting time to be involved with so many good young players coming through.ā
Despite celebrating his 37th birthday in November, Giggs is still making a massive contribution to the Red Devils' cause.
It was his superb pass that set Nani up for the opening goal in last weekendās Manchester derby triumph that keeps the Welshman on target for a record 12th championship medal.
He has already scorched past 800 appearances for the club and recently played his 600th Premier League game.
āYou run out of words to describe Ryan Giggs,ā said Alex Ferguson. āHe is a marvellous player and a wonderful man.
āTo have the desire and the ability to play at the top level in such a physically demanding position at his age requires a special person.
