Dalglish: Players missed their edge

Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish felt his side’s lack of spark in the 1-1 draw at home to Wigan was partly down to the effect of the midweek internationals.

Having lost Daniel Agger, Denmark’s scorer against England, prior to kick-off with an adductor injury the Reds boss felt several of his other players were below their recent best.
