Keane starts on the bench for Spurs

Republic of Ireland captain Robbie Keane was named on the Tottenham bench at Everton tonight as talks continued over a possible move to Birmingham.

The much-travelled striker has fallen down the pecking order at White Hart Lane but was surprisingly named among the substitutes at Goodison Park hours after confirmation talks with Blues had begun.
