Wilkinson and Pennant could return for Stoke

Stoke manager Tony Pulis is hopeful defender Andy Wilkinson and winger Jermaine Pennant will be back in contention for the Barclays Premier League match against Blackpool tomorrow.

Stoke manager Tony Pulis is hopeful defender Andy Wilkinson and winger Jermaine Pennant will be back in contention for the Premier League match against Blackpool tomorrow.

Both players missed the 2-2 draw with Wigan last week but have recovered well from their respective knee and hamstring complaints.

Marc Wilson is also ready to take part having served a one-game ban against the Latics.

Provisional squad: Begovic, Huth, Faye, Shawcross, Collins, Wilson, Etherington, Pennant, Whelan, Whitehead, Walters, Fuller, Jones, Gudjohnsen, Wilkinson, Higginbotham, Tuncay, Delap, Diao, Sorensen.
