Bond: Spurs can cover Huddlestone loss

Tottenham assistant manager Kevin Bond is confident Spurs’ squad is strong enough to cope with the loss of Tom Huddlestone for three months with an ankle problem.

The decision to go under the knife came last night following an extensive consultation period and will rule the 23-year-old out of key Champions League group fixtures and the club’s busy Christmas fixture schedule.
