Tevez starts, Giggs out of derby clash

Carlos Tevez was passed fit to face former club Manchester United tonight as City looked to secure victory in the first derby clash of the season at Eastlands.

Although the Argentina star was reported to be struggling with a thigh problem, Tevez was cleared to lead a Blues line-up showing one change from the side that overcame West Brom at the weekend, James Milner replacing the suspended Mario Balotelli.
