Shawcross suspended for Birmingham clash

Ryan Shawcross will miss out on Stoke’s clash with Birmingham tomorrow following his red card at Sunderland at the weekend.

Shawcross was shown two yellow cards – much to the fury of boss Tony Pulis – in the 2-0 defeat at the Stadium of Light.

Robert Huth is expected to move into the centre of defence, with either Danny Higginbotham or Andy Wilkinson coming into the side.

With no injuries to report, Pulis is otherwise expected to field an unchanged team.
