Black Cats fear for Bent

Sunderland striker Darren Bent could be sidelined for several weeks by the hamstring injury which kept him out of Saturday’s 2-0 victory over Stoke.

The England international was due to have another scan on the problem, which he picked up in training on Friday, today and is extremely unlikely to be involved in tomorrow night’s Barclays Premier League trip to Tottenham.
