Sneijder pens new Inter deal
Inter Milan midfielder Wesley Sneijder has signed a contract extension to remain at the European and Italian champions until 2015.
Inter president Massimo Moratti confirmed that the Holland international had penned the new deal at a shareholders’ meeting today.
The move to pin down Sneijder comes after he had been linked with a possible move to Manchester United following a stellar 12 months for the 26-year-old midfielder.
Sneijder led Inter to the Champions League and Serie A double last season before playing a starring role as Holland reached the World Cup final.
