Sporting Fingal will be looking for valuable points for European qualification when they take on Dundalk at Oriel Park tonight (kick-off 7.45pm).
Dundalk are without centre-half Garry Breen who is ruled out through suspension.
Left-back Wayne Hatswell returns to boost the squad after serving a ban last week.
Midfielder Alan Cawley may return after a lengthy absence, while winger Daniel Kearns is struggling with a shoulder injury and may miss out to the side that Dundalk have lost to three times in the league this season.
Eleven points from a possible 15 in the last five matches has lifted Liam Buckley’s Sporting into fourth place.
Captain Shaun Williams, who has scored in each of the last two league meetings with the Lilywhites, returns from suspension to face his former club.
Colm James is ruled out with a knee injury while Shaun Maher’s hamstring strain is a concern for boss Liam Buckley.
Buckley said: “The last few results have given us a great chance to finish in the top four.
“It’s been an exciting finale in that respect with St. Patrick’s Athletic trying to catch us while we’re on the tails of third-placed Sligo.
“Finishing above either or both of them can only be achieved with a continuation of our form.
“Dundalk set themselves up well and have plenty of pace and craft in their ranks. They’ve beaten every side in the Division except us this season and we want to avoid a slip-up.”
