Northern Ireland defender Craig Cathcart has withdrawn from Tuesday’s Euro 2012 qualifier against the Faroe Islands after failing to recover from a back injury.

Blackpool centre-half Cathcart will not travel to Toftir, Northern Ireland managed Nigel Worthington has confirmed.
