Sporting come back to earn draw against St Pat's

Sporting Fingal staged a late fight back to keep themselves in the hunt for a Europa League place.

Trailing 2-0, Glen Crowe collected Gary O’Neill's pass to get Sporting back into the game on 77 minutes.

Conan Byrne completed the comeback on 84 minutes when turning home a Ronan Finn shot.

O'Neill might then have won it for Sporting right on 90 minutes but he failed to get the vital touch to Byrne's low cross.

Sporting started well with Crowe firing wide, but they found themselves a goal down on eight minutes.

Ryan Guy turned Colin Hawkins on the right to cross and the marking was questionable as Dave Mulcahy arrived to shoot home from 14 yards.

Further bad defending was punished on 54 minutes as Guy robbed Shaun Williams to put Danny North in on goal and the Englishman showed good feet to glide past Shaun Maher and shoot home off a post.
