Ben Khalfallah joins Bordeaux

Bordeaux have confirmed the signing of Tunisian international midfielder Fahid Ben Khalfallah from fellow Ligue 1 team Valenciennes.

Girondins were keen to move quickly after talisman Yoann Gourcuff departed for Lyon this week in a deal worth around €22m.

And Jean Tigana’s side have managed to reinforce their squad ahead of Sunday’s visit of Marseille by securing 27-year-old France-born midfielder Ben Khalfallah on a four-year deal for an undisclosed fee.
