Rovers take the spoils at Bray
Bray Wanderers 1 Sligo Rovers 3
Sligo made it three wins on the spin to maintain their charge into the title race.
Padraig Amond, the league's topscorer, put his omission from Damien Richardson's Airtricity League squad hammered by Manchester United midweek behind him when heading Sligo in front from Gary McCabe's cross on ten minutes for his 13th strike of the season.
Sligo suffered a set-back just before the half hour, though, when influential midfielder Richie Ryan was shown a straight red card for a two-footed challenge on Gary Dempsey.
Bottom side Bray then levelled seven minutes into the second half when Jake Kelly pounced on a defensive mistake to shoot past John Gibson.
Matthew Blinkhorn restored Sligo's lead, however, right on the hour mark with a bullet header from Joseph Ndo's corner.
Romuald Boco made a starring return to the club when adding Sligo's third goal on 83 minutes with a lob over Matt Gregg.
