Football fans would have pocketed over €4,000 if they had backed Paul the psychic octopus’ World Cup predictions, online bookmaker Betfair has claimed today.
The English-born mollusc, now residing in the Sea Life Centre of Oberhausen, Germany, has successfully predicted the outcome of every game involving the German national side.
