Full-strength Gypsies heading to Santry
Bohemians will be looking to get back to winning ways in the league when they take on Sporting Fingal at Morton Stadium tonight, kick-off 7.45pm.
The Gypsies travel with a full squad to Santry. Central defender Ken Oman and forward Raffaele Cretaro return to the squad having missed Friday’s defeat to Dundalk due to suspension.
John Frost and Shane Barrett are both ruled out for Fingal due to injury. Frost is still struggling to overcome a hamstring stain, while Barrett is expected to resume full training on Tuesday following three weeks out with a thigh problem.
Centre-back Shaun Maher’s slight knee strain means he’s rated as doubtful and will undergo a pre-match fitness.
Sporting boss Liam Buckley said: “Hosting back-to-back champions Bohemians for the first time is always a daunting task for any newly-promoted team but everyone within our group will be up for this one.
“Of course, everyone will remember the last League clash between the sides on the opening night of the season when just a dubious penalty late in the game separated the sides.”
Meanwhile, Sporting Fingal have announced a new promotion that will see primary school children admitted free of charge to all home league matches in Morton Stadium during the 2010 season.
