Owen Hargreaves and John O’Shea are in contention to make their Manchester United comebacks in tomorrow’s top-of-the-table clash with Chelsea.

Hargreaves has been out of action for nearly 18 months following major surgery on both knees, whilst O’Shea has not played a game since suffering complications in his recovery from a dead leg sustained in the Republic of Ireland’s World Cup play-off defeat to France in November.

Wayne Rooney (ankle) is out, so £30.75m front-man Dimitar Berbatov is set to lead the United forward line.

Team (from): Van der Sar, Kuszczak, Foster, Neville, Rafael, De Laet, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evans, Evra, O’Shea, Park, Valencia, Carrick, Hargreaves, Scholes, Fletcher, Gibson, Obertan, Giggs, Nani, Berbatov, Macheda, Diouf.
