Robinho lines out for City in cup tie
Robinho was named in the Manchester City starting line-up for today’s FA Cup fourth round trip to Scunthorpe amid mounting speculation it would be his last appearance for the club.
City boss Roberto Mancini made eight changes to the side that took a narrow first leg lead over Manchester United in the Carling Cup, with Stephen Ireland also returning.
Scunthorpe boss Nigel Adkins made three changes, preferring Joe Murphy in goal while Rob Jones and free-kick specialist Grant McCann were also recalled.
Scunthorpe: Murphy, Byrne, Mirfin, Jones, Williams, Thompson, Togwell, McCann, Woolford, Hayes, Hooper.
