Manchester City midfielder Stephen Ireland is likely to return to the team against Scunthorpe on Sunday in the FA Cup fourth round.

Ireland was on the bench in midweek after recovering from injury with City defeating Manchester United 2-1 in the Carling Cup semi-final first leg.
