Win a boost to Derry morale
Dundalk 1 Derry City 2
A goal two minutes from time from Clive Delaney gave Derry a morale boosting win ahead of their fate being discussed by the FAI in Abbotstown tomorrow.
Dundalk took the lead on 29 minutes through winger Michael McGowan who lobbed Derry keeper Ger Doherty from 40 yards.
But Derry levelled three minutes into the second half when Gareth McGlynn rifled home a penalty after Ger Rowe had fouled Delaney.
Giant defender Delaney then won it for Derry on 88 minutes.
