Fergie questions media treatment of Ferdinand

Alex Ferguson has pointed the finger at the media after Rio Ferdinand’s form was questioned.

The Manchester United and England defender has been scrutinised after he made a number of mistakes and criticism intensified after Fernando Torres beat him with ease for the first goal in Liverpool’s 2-0 win last weekend.
