Bray Wanderers striker John Mulroy will miss tonight's clash with Cork City at Carlisle Grounds as he is struggling with a hamstring injury.

Derek Foran returns to the squad, while striker Paul Byrne returns after a lengthy absence.

Wanderers boss Eddie Gormley said: “We will be positive going into Friday night, draws are not much use to us now we will be going out to win all our games for the remainder of the season.”

For City, Joe Gamble and Timmy Kiely both remain sidelined with knee injuries, while midfielder Stephen O’Donnell is suspended.

Shane Duggan is likely to replace O’Donnell in central midfield in what should be the only change from the side that performed so well in midweek beating Derry City.

Boss Paul Doolin said: “I was very pleased with the result and the performance against Derry on Tuesday, and we will be looking to keep that run going.

“We played quite well on our last visit to Bray, but at this point in the season you tend to get some unexpected results and we expect a difficult game.

“It will be tough, but we need the three points and will go there with the intention of winning the game.”

Kick-off at the Carlisle Grounds is at 7.45pm.
