Birmingham striker Christian Benitez is unlikely to return home from Ecuador for Saturday's Premier League clash at Burnley despite his father being on the road to recovery after a road accident.

Birmingham striker Christian Benitez is unlikely to return home from Ecuador for Saturday's Premier League clash at Burnley despite his father being on the road to recovery after a road accident.

Benitez was allowed to fly home on Monday by Blues after his father suffered head and neck injuries.
