Tevez in City debut

Carlos Tevez was handed his full debut by Manchester City this afternoon as Mark Hughes closed in on the signing of Joleon Lescott.

The introduction of Tevez for Craig Bellamy to face Wolves was the only change from the team which beat Blackburn last weekend and a capacity Eastlands crowd prepared to welcome the Argentina star to City for their first competitive game on home soil.
