Birmingham agree fee for Galway Utd player

Birmingham have agreed a fee with Galway United for Republic of Ireland Under-21 international James O’Shea.

Dubliner O’Shea, 20, can operate on the right side of midfield or as a striker and has played three times for the Irish Under-21s.

He will undergo a medical and discuss personal terms with Alex McLeish’s side.

O’Shea, who captained Galway last season and scored 10 goals, has also played for Home Farm and Bray Wanderers.
