Bradley misses out for Rovers

Shamrock Rovers will have to plan without Stephen Bradley as they entertain Drogheda United at Tallaght Stadium tonight.

The Hoops midfielder is suspended for the visit of Alan Mathews’ side and skipper Shane Robinson may also miss out as he is struggling with a hamstring injury.

“We're almost back to full strength, but unfortunately Stephen Bradley has worked up enough points to warrant a one-match suspension,” said Hoops boss Michael O'Neill.

“We've played Drogheda already, and that was a quite entertaining 2-2 draw at United Park. We'll certainly be looking for all three points this time around.

“And while they're at the bottom of the table they've been playing quite well recently and have started to pick up a few points. It won't be easy but we're aiming for a win.”

For Drogheda, Robbie Farrell is still out injured and looks set to miss the next five or six weeks.

Jamie Duffy got injured in the pre-match warm-up against Bohemians last Friday and remains very doubtful to face his former club.

Paul Crowley also misses out as he is suspended following his straight red card against Bohemians, while John Paul Kelly and Mark Duggan have had their contracts terminated.
