Barcelona celebrations marred by violence

Over 100 people were detained and scores injured during violent scenes in Barcelona following last night’s Champions League final success by the city’s football team in Rome.

Tens of thousands of people were celebrating Barca’s 2-0 victory over Manchester United into the early hours of this morning, but the revelry was marred by ugly incidents.
