Jagielka clinches awards double before new contract talks

Phil Jagielka has picked up two major club awards and may even find himself with a new contract soon.

The unlucky Everton defender may be out of the FA Cup final but some compensation came when the 26 year-old was last night named as the players’ player of the year and the supporters’ player of the year at the club’s annual awards dinner.
