Redknapp rues Bent barb

Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp admits he was wrong to embarrass Darren Bent earlier in the season when the striker missed a sitter against Portsmouth.

Redknapp has changed Spurs’ fortunes since arriving at White Hart Lane but they had not won in four Premier League games when Bent headed wide against Pompey in January, despite having the whole of the goal to aim for.
