Brown to keep on doing it his way
Hull manager Phil Brown insists he will not change his approach despite this week’s controversies.
The Tigers boss has spent much of the past four days in the spotlight after his team’s acrimonious FA Cup quarter-final defeat at Arsenal on Tuesday.
Allegations Gunners captain Cesc Fabregas, who did not play in the game, spat at Brown’s assistant Brian Horton after the match induced the ire of Arsenal fans and prompted the Football Association to launch an investigation.
He was also fined £2,500 (€2,660) by the FA on Thursday and ordered to behave following his touchline confrontation with Newcastle boss Joe Kinnear in January.
However, the City manager insists he is merely being himself and has no time for critics who believe he needs to change his ways.
“I don’t think I do,” he insisted. “I’m me, this is what you get, and if there are people out there who don’t like it then so be it.
