El-Hadji Diouf could become the second player to make a swift exit from Sunderland this month amid concerted interest from Blackburn.

The Black Cats have received a bid from Blackburn for the 28-year-old Senegal international as Rovers boss Sam Allardyce attempts to recruit a man he first signed during his time at Bolton.
