Kyle set for Killie switch

Kilmarnock are set to complete the signing of former Scotland striker Kevin Kyle.

The 27-year-old has agreed an 18-month deal at Rugby Park after being released by Coventry.

Kyle scored five goals in 15 games on loan at Hartlepool this season but was keen to return to Scotland.

Killie manager Jim Jefferies said: “He’s agreed terms and the deal is now just subject to a medical.

“Kevin’s had quite a few offers, but he’s excited about the challenge of coming to Kilmarnock and I’m sure he’ll be terrific for us.”
