O'Neil winning fitness race

Middlesbrough midfielder Gary O’Neil has a chance of being involved against Everton on St Stephen's Day after returning from injury.

The 25-year-old has missed the last four games with a hamstring injury, but is back in training and could feature.

However, Didier Digard (groin) is unlikely to make either Friday’s game or the trip to Manchester United three days later.
