Bent blow for Spurs

Tottenham striker Darren Bent has tonsillitis and is out of the UEFA Cup clash against Spartak Moscow at White Hart Lane tomorrow.

Jonathan Woodgate (back) and Ledley King (knee) will be sidelined, while Roman Pavlyuchenko and Vedran Corluka are cup-tied, leaving Spurs boss Harry Redknapp desperately short.

Fraizer Campbell is Redknapp’s only fit forward, as Giovani dos Santos is still recovering from an ankle problem. Jermaine Jenas (calf) and Alan Hutton (foot) are the other absent players.
