Pogatetz in fitness battle

Middlesbrough skipper Emanuel Pogatetz is facing a race against time to make Saturday’s Barclays Premier League trip to Hull.

The 25-year-old Austria international damaged a shoulder during Saturday’s 0-0 derby draw with Newcastle and is undergoing extensive treatment in an attempt to declare himself fit for the game at the KC Stadium.
