Moyes needs January cavalry

Everton boss David Moyes is set to look for loan signings when the January transfer window opens, after losing striker Aiyegbeni Yakubu to a ruptured Achilles for the rest of the season.

Yakubu suffered his injury 10 minutes into yesterday’s 1-0 Barclays Premier League win over Tottenham at White Hart Lane, where Steven Pienaar grabbed the winner early in the second half.
