Everton’s Premier League clash against Tottenham at White Hart Lane was the club’s 300th game under manager David Moyes.

Moyes made one change from the side beaten by Wigan last week, with Steven Pienaar coming in for striker Louis Saha.

Saha had been struggling with a hamstring problem but he was still on the bench.

Spurs boss Harry Redknapp brought back skipper Ledley King, who rested his knee for the midweek UEFA Cup win over NEC Nijmegen in Holland.

Vedran Corluka and Roman Pavlyuchenko were back after being cup-tied for European competition, while Benoit Assou-Ekotto replaced Gareth Bale at left-back.

Aaron Lennon was also recalled, but Jermaine Jenas was still out with his toe complaint.
