Keane waits on Jones, Yorke, Edwards
Roy Keane is keeping his fingers crossed that Trinidad and Tobago trio Kenwyne Jones, Dwight Yorke and Carlos Edwards return unscathed from international duty.
The three played in their country’s 3-0 World Cup victory over Cuba in midweek and will return to training tomorrow ahead of Sunday’s Barclays Premier League clash with West Ham.
Goalkeeper Craig Gordon (ankle) and defender George McCartney (foot) are again rated at only 50-50, while young striker Martyn Waghorn has joined Charlton on a month’s loan.
Provisional squad: Fulop, Colgan, Bardsley, Chimbonda, Ferdinand, Nosworthy, Collins, Malbranque, Whitehead, Tainio, Leadbitter, Miller, Yorke, Richardson, Reid, Diouf, Cisse, Jones, Murphy, Healy.
