Cork settle for a point against Drogheda

Cork failed to give their new owner a winning start as they had to settle for a point in a dour contest at Turner's Cross.

Drogheda had the best chance of the first half on 30 minutes when defender John Tambouras got in a header which was cleared off the line by Danny Murphy.

Cork prodcued the one clear-cut chance of the second half, Drogheda keeper Jamie Ewings saving well from Darren Murphy.
