FIFA have warned Poland’s two World Cup qualifiers next month will be forfeited unless the government reinstates the country’s football association by October 6.

FIFA have warned Poland’s two World Cup qualifiers next month will be forfeited unless the government reinstates the country’s football association by October 6.

Poland are in the same group as Northern Ireland for the 2010 World Cup qualifying campaign and are due to face the Czech Republic on October 11 and Slovakia four days later.

If they forfeit the matches, their opponents would be awarded regulation 3-0 victories.
