Instead, Kenny Miller returned from injury to partner Jean-Claude Darcheville at Easter Road. Charlie Adam replaced Nacho Novo in midfield while Neil Alexander continued in goal.

Hibernian handed Derek Riordan a first start since his return from Celtic after he scored the winning goal against Hamilton off the bench last weekend.

He replaced Colin Nish, who went off injured against Accies, while Souleymane Bamba returned from suspension to take John Rankin’s place.
