League Managers’ Association chief executive Richard Bevan today admitted Kevin Keegan was “in a difficult position” as confusion continued to reign over his position at St James’ Park.
Speculation was rife yesterday that the 57-year-old had left his post following a clash with club officials over transfer policy.
