Dong cleared out of Old Trafford

Manchester United have released Chinese striker Dong Fangzhuo after his contract was cancelled by mutual consent.

The 23-year-old joined the club in January 2004 but spent two years on loan at Royal Antwerp as he awaited a work permit to play in England.
