Baggies sign Bolton defender

West Brom have completed the £2m signing of defender Abdoulaye Meite from Bolton.

The Ivory Coast international passed a medical this afternoon before agreeing a three-year contract with the Barclays Premier League new boys.

The fee for the 27-year-old could rise to £2.5m with performance-related add-ons, while the Baggies also have the option to retain his services for a fourth year.
